CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE

• Easier Game — 4 in a Row: Connect four of your pieces in an unbroken horizontal, vertical or diagonal line. A simple goal for learning the game and enjoying friendly competition.

• Harder Game — 5 in a Row: Raise the challenge by connecting five of your pieces in an unbroken horizontal, vertical or diagonal line. Build a longer line while protecting your progress from your opponent’s moves.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Set up: Place the board on a flat surface with all five sliding rows centered and the playing spaces empty.

2. Choose your pieces: One player uses the blue square pieces; the other uses the green round pieces.

3. Select your mode: Agree on four in a row or five in a row before starting.

4. Take your turn: Place one piece in an empty space, then slide any one row one position left or right within its track. All pieces on that row move with it.

5. Check the board: After completing the placement and slide, check for a winning line of four or five pieces, depending on your chosen mode. Continue taking turns until a player wins.

Both modes use the same place-and-slide actions—the winning line gets longer when you’re ready for a greater challenge.
